Trebor is a very highly regarded company worldwidely reknowned for top quality pumps and being fluid handling specialists they have integrated their knowledge into DI water heaters to produce one of the most reliable and purest heaters on the market today.

In regards chemical pumps, Trebor have historically held patents on the simpler designs, this has forced other pump manufacturers to seek alternative methods of construction. Because of this Trebor has become one of the highest respected pump manufacturers in a competitive market.

Due to the simpler designs, the pumps have few working parts and this, as you will agree, makes the pumps exceptionally easy to strip down and rebuild.
It also means that they are incredibly reliable and the smallest on the current market for their flow rate performance.

· We do not attach diaphragms to the main shaft (an obvious wear   point)
· High precision engineering in Teflon
· Few moving parts
· Very Compact Design vs Flow output

However Trebor listened very closely to customer grievances about the pumps and set themselves a very ambitious target to design a pump that was still cost effective and met all the current requirements of existing pumps while eliminating the top four customer wish list improvements.

These were :

· Go to High Temperature (180 C)
· Eliminate Tie bolt maintenance
· Greater Uptime / Life Expectancy
· Have one pump for all chemicals

Trebor not only achieved this but surpassed it with the design of the Maxim pump and was voted by customers as the Semiconductor International Best Product Award of 1998. What made this more impressive was the award was given at a time when only the Maxim 50 was released, since then they have released the Maxim 25 and 620 (hybrid).
